Terms of Business
Overseas mortgages are not regulated by the FSA.We offer an overseas mortgage packaging service and will liaise with the bank to ensure that the mortgage is offered within a reasonable timescale. Pure Genius Ltd do not accept responsibility for any delays or subsequent refusal of an application due to a change in that country�s banking law or due to the bank changing criteria. We do not involve ourselves with the contractual aspect of purchasing overseas and clients are advised to take independent legal advice and liaise with their sales agent. It is the client's responsibility to be aware of their own payment schedule. Pure Genius Ltd will not liaise with sales agents/developers on behalf of clients, unless we have been appointed by the sales agent/developer as their recommended broker. Rates quoted are correct at the time of initial contact with the client but are subject to change by the bank.
Our dealings with youWe cannot accept responsibility for taxation advice. Clients must be responsible for their own taxation position and we strongly recommend that clients take advice on taxation matters from a qualified accountant. We are required to verify your identity in accordance with the Money Laundering Regulation of the country that we are working in and no application will be made until such verification has been obtained. This process involves obtaining verification of your identity using documents such as your Passport or Driving License and your address (e.g. utility bill, bank statement).
Your MoneyWE DO NOT HANDLE CLIENT MONIES. Cheques for valuations and application fees can only be made payable to the product provider, we never accept a cheque made out to us (unless in settlement of fees for which we have sent you a bill). No premiums or investment monies of any kind should be paid or be made payable to anyone else.
The Data Protection ActInformation provided by you may be held, processed, disclosed and used by ourselves, professional advisers and any associated companies in servicing our relationship with you. However, strict confidentiality will be maintained. It is understood that, unless you notify us otherwise, you agree to the storage, use and disclosure of information. This information may be disclosed to third party product providers in the course of providing our analysis and servicing of our relationship. No information will be passed to another party without your prior consent unless we are legally obliged to do so. You also agree that for the purposes described above your data may be transferred to countries outside the European Economic Area (EEA). We may use and analyse your data, including the nature of your transactions, to provide you with information by post, telephone, fax or e mail to service and update you, as well as informing you, by way of an unsolicited real time financial promotion, of new investment opportunities. FeesPure Genius Ltd charge for all overseas mortgages. A fee agreement will be provided and will need to be signed and its terms and conditions accepted before application submission. |
